Getting started
Is the Free plan really free?
Yes. The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit. Upgrade only if you need more storage, more transfers, or longer-lasting links.
Can I use the same account on iPhone, iPad and the web?
Yes. Sign in with the same account in the SimpleShare app and on simpleshare.cloud. Your transfers and your plan go with you.
Plans and billing
What do I get with a paid plan?
Paid plans raise your limits: more storage for active transfers, more transfers each month, and links that stay up longer. The exact limits for each plan are listed on the pricing page. Compare plans
What happens if I reach my plan limit?
SimpleShare tells you before you upload. You can upgrade, delete transfers you no longer need to free up storage, or wait until your monthly transfer count resets at the start of the next month.
Can I cancel or change my plan anytime?
Yes. You can change or cancel your subscription whenever you like. If you cancel, your paid plan stays active until the end of the current billing period.
I subscribed in the iPhone or iPad app. How do I manage it?
Subscriptions bought in the app are billed by Apple. To change or cancel one, open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name, then tap Subscriptions.
Sending files
Can I share by link and by email?
Yes. Copy a link to share anywhere, or send the transfer straight to one or more email addresses.
Can I protect transfers with a password or an expiry date?
Yes. You can add a password to any transfer and choose when its link expires, which helps when sharing client work, private documents, or time-sensitive files.
What happens when a transfer expires?
Its link stops working and the files can no longer be downloaded. Expired transfers no longer count toward your storage.
Account and safety
How do I delete my account?
On the web, open the account menu and choose Manage account. In the app, go to Settings. Delete your active transfers first, then delete your account.
How do I report a transfer that breaks the rules?
Send us the transfer link and tell us what is wrong. We review reports and remove content that violates our Terms of Service. Contact us
